Shipping & Returns

At heatingpartscanada.ca we take  precaution to ensure your replacement furnace part ships in a safe manner. Any damaged parcel should be reported prior to opening the parcel by phone.

Returns Policy

All parts are final sale. Due to the complex nature of diagnostics, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure which part is required. We guarantee new parts. Should we have sent the incorrect item from what you ordered, in error, we will offer buyer a full refund and cover the return shipping costs.

Please ensure it is the correct part prior to opening or attempting to install parts.

No returns on any electrical/electrical related parts. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Cancellations can only be done over the phone within 4 hours of purchase to avoid the 25% cancellation/restocking fee. If you item has already been marked as "shipped" or marked as "waiting on shipment" at ANY time after you placed the order, you will have to pay the restocking/cancellation fee of 25%.

Any damage to a part must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Any reported damage after this period will be subject to manufacturer's warrany approval only. In this case part must be returned to manufacturer at your own cost and no replacement will be sent out until warranty has been approved. If you require a replacement part immediately, part will have to be re-ordered and paid for again by consumer and credit will be issued once warranty is approved.

We can ship to virtually any address in Canada. Note that there are some rural areas that additional shipping charges may apply. Our primary courier may also subcontract parcels destined to rural areas, to Canada Post or other shippers which may delay the shipping process.

Most items ship within 1-2 business days, depending on stock. Do not assume your part will ship within this time frame if you need it urgently. Please feel free to call us if you have not received a shipping status update within 2 business days or would like to request/pay for RUSH. We stock our parts at several warehouses throughout the country, so often stock in transfered to the closest warehouse to you first to save on shipping costs.

SAME DAY SHIPMENTS are only arranged by phone and on WEEKDAYS only - additional charges may apply in certain areas. Orders placed online ship from designated warehouses, and special arrangements cannot be promised to rush these unless ordered and paid for by phone. SAME DAY Delivery requests placed/estimated over weekends cannot be guaranteed until the following MONDAY.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Instructions provided with the motor and precautions attached to the motor should be read carefully prior to installation, operation and/or maintenance of the equipment. Injury to personnel or motor failure may be caused by improper installation, maintenance or operation.

The following and information is supplied to you for your protection and to provide you with many years of trouble free and safe operation of your purchased product:

•Disconnect power and lock out driven equipment before working on a motor.
•Always keep hands and clothing away from moving parts.
•The lifting support on the motor is not to be used to lift the entire machine. Only the motor attached directly to the support may be safely lifted by the support.
•Install and ground per local and national codes.
•Discharge all capacitors before servicing a single phase motor.
•Misapplication of a motor in a hazardous environment can cause fire or an explosion and result in serious injury. Only the end user, local authority having jurisdiction, and/or insurance underwriter are qualified to identify the appropriate class(es), group(s), division and temperature code. Commercial Motors by our personnel can not evaluate or recommend what motors may be suitable for use in hazardous environments. If a motor is name-plated for hazardous locations, do not operate the motor without all of the grease and drain plugs installed.
• Never attempt to measure the temperature rise of a motor by touch. Temperature rise must be measured by thermometer, resistance, imbedded detector or thermo-couple.
•Motors with automatic reset thermal protectors will automatically restart when the protector temperature drops sufficiently. Do not use motors with automatic reset thermal protectors in applications where automatic restart will be hazardous to personnel or equipment.
•Motors with manual reset thermal protectors may start unexpectedly after the protector trips when the surrounding air is at +20°Fahrenheit or lower. If the manual reset protector trips, disconnect motor from its power supply. After the protector cools (five minutes or more), it can be reset and power may be applied to the motor.
•Connect all protective device leads, marked P1, P2, etc., per instructions supplied with the motor.
•Operation of a motor at other than its nameplate rating may result in fire, damage to equipment or serious injury to personnel.
•For safety, Buyer or User should provide protective guards over all shaft extensions and any moving apparatus mounted thereon. The User is responsible for checking all applicable safety codes in his area and providing suitable guards. Failure to do so may result in bodily injury and/or damage to equipment.
